Comment:
Mosquito epidemiology - weight of bloodmeal required to detect multiple feeds by Aedes aegypti. This study found that at least 0.1 mg of each component can be identified by the Hp test see Lenahan and Boreham. 1976. Bull. ent. Res. 66: 681-684. PFL Boreham did a significant amount of research on blood meals of mosquitos and other arthropods to answer epidemiological questions. Work to investigate the significance of multiple feeding by Peter and his colleagues was supported by WHO and MRC grants - see Boreham. PFL. 1988. DSc.
